Cory Forsyth: the greenpoint police stole my bike tire

Sorry, but that's really kind of funny. You went from having a thief steal your tire to the police doing so!

Count yourself lucky though, someone stole my car on Dec 31st 2008... Don't criminals have holidays too?!

Talk directly to Deputy Inspector Fuller. Or, talk to the Comsumer Affairs officer. You can find them at the Police meetings 7:30 pm the 3rd Monday of the month. Downstairs of the bank on Calyer St. across from Otom Gym. Usually when you express your problem in public at the meetings you get action.

I would like to put in a plug for a bank Joy and I had a good experience with recently: TD Bank. They have exemplary customer service, and in a situation where another local bank, Astoria Bank, www.chase.com screwed us over, TD Bank had a no-minimum balance, no fee option for an account for a minor. They seem to have avoided much of the predatory lending practices, so have not had to beg taxpayers for a bailout. Additionally, they have been one of the world's most sustainable companies

Oh its so bad. But this kind of thing usually happens in theft cases. Police keepp the stolen thing with him & it takes long & long time to get it back. So better you forget it & get a new tire.

Very hilarious incident. Now its better that you take new tire.
